Geotechnical Evaluation Process

geotechnical2.pngQuarryplan make a visual inspection and produce photographic and written records of the condition of all excavations, tips and lagoons present on Site. Wherever practicable and safe to do so, site geotechnical data is collected. This information is used in conjunction with Quarryplan's extensive database of material properties, to provide input data into the wide suite of in-house geotechnical modelling software.

This information is used to design a series of Quarry Development Plans, against an agreed timeline, in conjunction with the Client, which determine the total overburden, inter-burden and mineral volumes / tonnages available.

These plans satisfy the requirement for a "quarry design" under the Regulations and are an invaluable working tool for the Client.
