Quarryplan has in its multi-disciplinary team experienced mineral planners who have worked in the public and private sectors and have a wide breadth of knowledge and experience in mineral policy formulation and implementation.

Stage 1 Information Gathering

Quarryplan can submit written observations regarding mineral development and seek to influence the direction of planning policy. The merits of new mineral development sites can be set out for the planning authority.

Stage 2 The Issues Paper

Quarryplan can submit strategic representations relating to mineral development that will establish a framework for including sites within the Plan.

Stage 3 The Draft Plan

Quarryplan can submit representations to promote sites for mineral extraction or to object against restrictive policies.

Stage 4 Independent Examination

Quarryplan will make either oral or written representations at the Examination in Public supporting a Client's position.

Quarryplan's team has worked extensively throughout the UK in making representations to Development Plans, both on a site specific basis and on policy issues  on behalf of Trade Associations.

This work covers every stage of the plan process from identifying issues, through to public examination.
