Senior Town Planning Consultant 

County Down

Quarryplan is an independent consultancy providing specialist planning and property advice to the minerals, waste management and energy generation sectors. As the leading Mineral Consultancy in Northern Ireland, Quarryplan are looking to recruit an additional member to the senior planning team. 

Location:

Based in Crossgar, Co. Down, the work will be mainly office-based but will also involve visiting various site/project locations and therefore a full UK driving licence and the ability to travel is essential. 

Role:
The candidate will be joining the senior team providing high quality planning consultancy advice to a range of Cleints. The role will include preparation of Mineral and Waste planning applications, production and coordination of Environmental Impact Assessments and liaison with sub-consultants, local planning authority officers and statutory bodies.

Requirements:

You will be required to be educated to degree level or hold a relevant minerals planning/surveying qualification together with RTPI/RICS membership. A minimum of five years relevant post qualification experience through industry, consultancy or the public sector is necessary.

Graduate Surveyor

(Co. Down)

 

Quarryplan are looking to recruit a bright, enthusiastic graduate surveyor to start work as soon as possible to join an expanding team, to mainly undertake topographical surveys and operate our newly acquired UAV to assist in the planning and delivery of quarry and associated development projects throughout Ireland and the UK.

 

Location:

Based in Crossgar, Co. Down, the work will be both office and field based visiting various sites/projects in locations throughout Ireland and the UK. A full UK driving licence and ability to travel is therefore essential.

Role:

The canditate will be joining as the Northern Ireland based member of our Surveying team involved in many aspects of Land Surveying. This will include collecting and analysing data, using GPS and Drone Technology to enable the development of our 3-dimensional extraction models and associated CAD based applications for noise, landscape and hydrogeological assessments.

Requirements:

2:1 (Hons) Degree in BEng, MEng; or BSc (Hons) in Civil Engineering, Geospatial Engineering or any other relevant accredited Surveying degree.

Experience working as a land surveyor.

Eligibility to work and live permanently in the UK.

A full UK drivers licence.

You must have a flexible approach to work, be able to adapt to change and be motivated to become a Chartered Surveyor.

Salary

A competitive salary will be offered, within the range of £16,000 - £20,000 p.a. commensurate to experience. There will be the opportunity to join a contributory pension scheme and related professional institution fees will be covered.
